Who pooped on my desk?

It certainly looks like someone pooped on my desk, but if you take a closer look you will see that it actually is Mammon, Daemon Prince of Nurgle, and his pet Herald follower.

Welcome back, it has been a long time since I made an entry in this blog, but I recently moved to a new appartment wich effectively cancelled my current Internet subscription. Since this was during easter, it took longer time to get in touch with the company, and when we at last got a hold of them they told us we would have to wait 2-3 weeks.

But enough of my problems, here’s some of my latest work!

Mammon got delivered to my parents place in Sweden, and I went to pick it up while I was on vacation. It’s a big fat 7-piece figure that cost around as much as a Great Unclean One, and that includes the Herald! A really beautiful sculpted figure with a lot of funny details. I really love the Nurglings sitting on his shoulders, and I love the Nurglings sitting in the tank on his back even more. They sit there looking like they’re enjoying a hot-tub.

The model was fairly easy to assembly, but I pinned it just to be on the safe side.

I have given it a basecoat of chaos black, and then I painted the entire model Calthan Brown. This will be shaded with Devlan Mud, and perhaps Thraka Green. The figure will the be drybrushed with Catachan Green, and for each highlight I will mix in a small amount of Rotting Flesh untill I use Rotting Flesh on its own.

The tank and cannon will get a wash of Badab Black, then strippled with Boltgun Metal.

During this time without internet I fell to temptations a lot of times. I got started with a Blood Angels army and I played a game of Kill Team from the Battlemissions book. This was a quick game and really fun, so I decided to build my own Kill Team as well. More of this in a couple of weeks.

Until then, cheers!
